Just Play Something is a small multimedia utility for Windows XP and Windows Vista that runs a random music file stored on your computer and is very simple to use. You just let the program index your music files via a special tool included that builds your music library - a database file containing paths to music files which have been found in a chosen location and then you click the Play Random button whenever you would like your favorite music player to play a random song. And with a hotkey defined for the Play button, playing of a random song will become even easier and more comfortable. There is also a Play Current Again button which appears above the Play Random button if you move the mouse cursor over the Play Random button or press assigned hotkey. Whenever this button is pressed, the current song starts play again (repeat). To know what song is playing, the Now Playing Infobar displays the song information whenever a new random song starts to play or the current song starts to repeat. If you don't like the default black appearance, you can choose another one from various color themes.
